This workshop is a Yoga & Mindfulness-based treatment programme for ages 9-12

 

  • Tweens meeting for 1 hour every week for 6 weeks OR one-on-one sessions for 6 sessions
  • The first portion of each session is devoted to a short mindfulness exercise and discussion

 

Tweens who practice yoga & mindfulness can benefit from the following:

 

  • Build skills to help bring the mind towards equanimity
  • Help understand the principle of body and mind
  • Stress and anxiety coping mechanisms
  • Facilitate focus through calmness of the mind
  • Skills to build self-confidence
  • Facilitate creativity through mental clarity
