
This workshop is a Yoga & Mindfulness-based treatment programme for ages 9-12
- Tweens meeting for 1 hour every week for 6 weeks OR one-on-one sessions for 6 sessions
- The first portion of each session is devoted to a short mindfulness exercise and discussion
Tweens who practice yoga & mindfulness can benefit from the following:
- Build skills to help bring the mind towards equanimity
- Help understand the principle of body and mind
- Stress and anxiety coping mechanisms
- Facilitate focus through calmness of the mind
- Skills to build self-confidence
- Facilitate creativity through mental clarity
- Self-awareness
